The Galaxy Buds3 Pro are Samsung's most accomplished earbuds yet. The independently driven planar tweeter and dynamic woofer produce a genuinely detailed, well-separated sound, and 24-bit SSC Hi-Fi pushes that further on a Galaxy phone. Adaptive ANC, six microphones and IP57 buds round out a complete flagship package. The catch is the ecosystem lock-in — many headline features are Galaxy-only — and battery life that is good rather than class-leading. For anyone already in Samsung's orbit, these are an easy recommendation.
Best-sounding buds I've owned
Paired with my S24 the SSC Hi-Fi mode is a real upgrade — bass is tight and the treble is clean without being harsh. ANC handles bus and rickshaw noise on the commute well. Fit took a day to get used to with the new stem shape but it's comfortable now.
Great audio, wish battery lasted longer
Sound and call quality are excellent and the wireless charging case is convenient. My only complaint is that with ANC on I get roughly six hours, so on long days I'm topping up. Still, for Galaxy users this is the obvious pick.
Premium feel, ecosystem-locked
Build quality is top-notch and the Blade Light LED looks sharp. Calls are crisp thanks to the extra mics. Just know that a lot of the headline features only switch on with a Samsung phone — on my older Pixel it's basically a good AAC earbud.

Each bud houses a two-way dual-driver system: a 6.1 mm planar tweeter for highs and a 10.5 mm dynamic woofer for lows, each fed by its own amplifier. This is the first dual-amp, dual-driver setup in a Galaxy Buds product.
The buds last about 6 hours with ANC on (around 7 hours with ANC off), and the charging case extends that to roughly 26 hours total with ANC enabled. Each bud carries a 53 mAh cell; the case holds 515 mAh.
They support 24-bit/96 kHz audio via Samsung's Seamless Codec (SSC Hi-Fi), but that high-resolution path only works with compatible Galaxy devices. On other phones they fall back to AAC and SBC.
The buds carry an IP57 rating — fully dust-tight and protected against immersion in up to 1 m of water for 30 minutes. The charging case is not rated, so keep it dry. IP57 is fine for workouts and rain, not for swimming.
Yes. The case supports Qi wireless charging as well as USB-C wired charging, so it works on any standard wireless pad or a Galaxy phone's Wireless PowerShare.
They pair over Bluetooth 5.4 and play audio fine on an iPhone using AAC/SBC, but ecosystem features — SSC Hi-Fi, 360 Audio, Auto Switch, real-time interpreter and the full Galaxy Wearable app — require a Samsung Galaxy device.
There are six microphones across the pair plus a voice pickup unit (VPU) that senses jaw vibration. Together they isolate your voice well in wind and noise, so call and video clarity is a clear step up over the Buds2 Pro.
