The Q1 Pro is the rare pre-built that genuinely feels like a custom keyboard. Its CNC aluminium body, double-gasket mount, screw-in stabs and pre-lubed K Pro switches deliver a deep, cushioned, premium sound and feel with almost no setup. Full QMK/VIA support means every key and the rotary knob are remappable on open-source firmware, and Bluetooth 5.1 finally adds wireless to the Q-series. The trade-offs are predictable: it is heavy at ~1.6 kg, has a fixed (non-adjustable) typing angle, and Bluetooth polling drops to 90 Hz. For typists and tinkerers who want a tank that sounds great today and can be modded forever, it is close to ideal.
Feels like a custom build, zero effort
I have built boards from kits and this matches them. The aluminium case is solid, the gasket bounce is real, and the stabs are already tuned. QMK/VIA meant I had my whole layout mapped in ten minutes. Worth every taka.
Superb typer, just very heavy
Sound and feel are a clear step above any membrane or cheap mech I have used. Only knocking a star because it is a brick to carry and the typing angle is fixed — a wrist rest is basically mandatory. The hot-swap is a lifesaver for trying switches.
Wireless + QMK is the dream combo
Finally a Q-series with Bluetooth. I pair it to my MacBook and desktop and switch with a key combo. Wired 1000 Hz for games, Bluetooth for everyday. Battery is great with RGB off; with it blasting you will charge more often. Highly recommend.

Yes. It uses a hot-swappable PCB with 5-pin MX-style sockets, so you can pull and replace switches by hand without any soldering. Both 3-pin and 5-pin Cherry MX-compatible switches fit.
Yes. The Q1 Pro adds Bluetooth 5.1 over the original wired Q1, and it can pair with up to 3 devices at once with quick key-combo switching. You can also run it wired over USB-C, which is recommended for gaming.
Wired over USB-C it polls at 1000 Hz with full N-key rollover. Over Bluetooth the polling rate is limited to around 90 Hz, which is fine for typing but is why most gamers keep it plugged in.
The 4000 mAh battery lasts up to about 100 hours with the RGB backlight on at low brightness, and up to roughly 300 hours with the backlight off. High RGB brightness drains it noticeably faster. It charges over USB-C while you use it wired.
