The MX Master 3S refines an already excellent productivity mouse rather than reinventing it. The headline changes — near-silent Quiet Clicks and an 8000 DPI Darkfield sensor that tracks on glass — both land well in daily use, and the MagSpeed wheel remains the best scroll experience on any mouse. Logitech Flow, multi-device pairing and a genuine 70-day battery make it a natural hub for a multi-computer desk. It is right-handed only and on the heavy side, but for office, creative and coding work it is hard to beat.
The Quiet Clicks alone are worth it
Upgraded from the MX Master 3 mainly for the silent clicks and they genuinely are near-inaudible now — great in a shared office. The MagSpeed wheel flicking into free-spin to fly down long documents is still the best scroll on any mouse. Battery lasts me well over two months.
Excellent for work, a bit heavy
Tracks perfectly on my glass desk, which no other mouse I owned could do. Flow across my laptop and desktop is a real productivity boost. Only minor gripes are the weight on long days and Logi Options+ being a slightly bloated app.
Perfect productivity mouse
The thumb wheel for horizontal scroll in spreadsheets and timelines is something I now can't live without. Comfortable sculpted shape for my medium-large hand, and the USB-C quick charge means I'm never actually out of battery. Right-handed only, so plan accordingly.

It uses Logitech's 8000 DPI Darkfield high-precision sensor, adjustable in 50 DPI steps. Darkfield tracking lets it work on virtually any surface, including clear glass at least 4 mm thick, where most optical mice fail.
Logitech rates the new switches at about 90% less click noise than the MX Master 3. The tactile feel is preserved, so clicks still feel positive — they are just far less audible in a shared or quiet room.
The 500 mAh rechargeable cell lasts up to 70 days on a full charge with typical use. Charging is over USB-C, and a one-minute quick charge gives roughly three hours of use.
It pairs with up to three devices and switches between them with the Easy-Switch button. You can connect over Bluetooth Low Energy or the included Logi Bolt USB receiver, which runs on 2.4 GHz.
Flow lets one mouse control multiple computers across your desk — move the cursor to a screen edge to jump machines — and copy and paste text, images and files between them, including across Windows and macOS. It works on Windows, macOS, Linux, iPadOS and ChromeOS.
It is built for productivity, not gaming. The shape, MagSpeed wheel and quiet switches are excellent for work, but its 1000 Hz polling rate and ergonomics are not tuned for competitive gaming the way a dedicated gaming mouse is.
