The Horizon Ultra is XGIMI's most complete projector to date. Its Dual Light hybrid engine marries laser brightness with LED color fidelity, and it is one of the few home projectors to ship genuine Dolby Vision — the result is a punchy, accurate 4K image with deep, natural color. ISA 2.0 makes setup effortless: it auto-focuses, squares the image and avoids obstacles in seconds. Built-in Android TV 11 with official Netflix and a Harman Kardon speaker pair mean it works straight out of the box. You still need a controlled-light room and a bit of throw distance, and the price is firmly premium, but for a living-room cinema this is about as turnkey as 4K projection gets.
Closest thing to a real cinema at home
The Dual Light picture is stunning — colors are rich and the Dolby Vision pass on supported titles is a visible step up. ISA 2.0 squared and focused the image in seconds after I moved it. With the lights off it throws a gorgeous 110-inch picture in my living room.
Brilliant image, needs a dark room
Brightness is great for a projector but I still draw the curtains for the best result during the day. The Harman Kardon speakers are genuinely good so I rarely bother with my soundbar. Built-in Netflix working properly was the deciding factor for me.
Premium and turnkey, but plan your placement
It is a long-throw unit so I had to sit it about three metres back for a 100-inch image — worth measuring before you buy. Once positioned it is effortless. Auto focus and obstacle avoidance work as advertised and the fan is only faintly audible in silent scenes.

Dual Light is a hybrid light source that combines an LED engine with a laser engine in one projector. The LED contributes wide, pure color while the laser supplies brightness and punch, so the Horizon Ultra reaches 2300 ISO lumens with better color accuracy than a laser-only design and more brightness than a pure-LED one.
It is rated at 2300 ISO lumens, which is bright for a home projector. That is comfortable in a dim or light-controlled room and watchable with curtains drawn during the day, but like all projectors it is not designed to fight direct sunlight on the screen.
Yes. The Horizon Ultra is one of the few consumer projectors with full Dolby Vision, alongside HDR10 and HLG. With Dolby Vision content from a supported app or source it applies scene-by-scene tone mapping for noticeably better highlight and shadow detail.
It projects a 60 to 200-inch image with a throw ratio of about 1.2:1. In practice a 100-inch picture needs the projector roughly 2.6 to 3 metres from the screen, so it is a long-throw unit meant for placement across the room rather than right against a wall.
ISA 2.0 is XGIMI's Intelligent Screen Adaptation suite. It performs automatic keystone correction, auto focus, automatic screen-fit to align the image to your screen's borders, and obstacle avoidance so the picture skips wall fixtures. Setup after moving the projector takes only a few seconds.
Yes. It runs Android TV 11 and is on XGIMI's officially Netflix-supported lineup, so Netflix installs and runs natively without a separate streaming stick. Other apps including Prime Video, YouTube and Disney+ are available from the Google Play Store.
