The main caveats are the missing HDR10+ support and a 40W speaker system that, while decent, still rewards pairing with a soundbar.
Best TV I've owned, hands down
Upgraded from a mid-range LED and the difference is staggering. Perfect blacks, Dolby Vision content on Netflix looks reference-grade, and webOS 24 is fast and clean. The full set of HDMI 2.1 ports future-proofs it for years.
Stunning picture, add a soundbar
The panel is everything I hoped for and bright enough for our evening viewing. Knocking off a star only for the audio — the 40W speakers are fine for news but Dolby Atmos really needs a proper soundbar to shine. Also wish it had HDR10+ for Amazon content.
A gamer's dream OLED
144Hz, VRR and G-Sync all work flawlessly with my RTX card. Input lag is basically imperceptible in Game mode and the Game Dashboard overlay is genuinely useful. Some mild concern about burn-in long term, but the pixel-refresher features ease my mind.

The 55-inch C4 reaches roughly 1000 nits of peak brightness on a 10% HDR window (around 1049 nits measured in Filmmaker Mode), thanks to LG's Brightness Booster. That's excellent for OLED and great for HDR highlights, though Mini-LED sets still go brighter for very sunny rooms.

No. The C4 supports Dolby Vision, HDR10 and HLG, but not HDR10+. In practice the Dolby Vision ecosystem covers most premium content (Netflix, Disney+, Apple TV+, UHD Blu-ray), but Amazon Prime Video's HDR10+ titles will fall back to standard HDR10.
It has four HDMI 2.1 inputs, all rated at the full 48 Gbps bandwidth. One of them (HDMI 2) also doubles as the eARC port for lossless audio passthrough to a soundbar or AV receiver, so you can run multiple high-refresh sources at once.
