The Apple Watch Series 10 is the most polished smartwatch Apple has shipped. A bigger, brighter wide-angle OLED makes the always-on display genuinely glanceable in direct sun, the thinner case is more comfortable for round-the-clock wear, and faster charging finally takes the sting out of the modest battery. Depth and water-temperature sensors broaden its appeal for swimmers, and the health stack remains class-leading where regional rules allow. The ~18-hour battery and iPhone-only requirement are the only real caveats — for anyone in Apple's ecosystem, it is the smartwatch to beat.
The bigger screen is a real upgrade
Coming from a Series 7, the wide-angle display is the standout. The always-on screen is readable in bright Dhaka sunlight without raising my wrist, and the thinner case sits much better overnight. Fast charging means a quick top-up before bed easily covers sleep tracking.
Excellent watch, battery is the only weak spot
Fitness and health tracking are superb and the new water-temperature sensor is fun for pool days. My only gripe is the same as always — I have to charge it daily. If you sleep-track, plan a charge into your routine. Otherwise, flawless with my iPhone.
Best smartwatch in the iPhone ecosystem
watchOS 11 with the training-load metrics has genuinely changed how I structure runs. ECG works fine here and the depth gauge is a nice bonus for snorkelling trips. The titanium finish feels premium, though aluminium is the smarter buy for most people.
