The Redmi Note 14 4G is a well-judged budget phone that nails the basics. It leads with the things that matter most day to day - a bright 120 Hz AMOLED, a high-resolution 108 MP main camera, a large 5500 mAh battery, and welcome extras like a headphone jack, microSD, IR blaster and FM radio. The compromises are sensible for its low price: no 5G, no ultra-wide or OIS, 1080p-only video, an IP54 build and Wi-Fi 5. The Helio G99-Ultra handles everyday tasks smoothly without pretending to be a gaming chip. For buyers who don't need 5G, it covers the fundamentals better than most at this price.
Battery life is the real star
The 5500 mAh battery easily gets me a day and a half. The AMOLED screen is bright and smooth at 120Hz, and the 108 MP camera takes sharp daytime shots. Don't miss 5G at all on my network. Great value.
Good phone, just no ultra-wide
Lovely screen and the battery is excellent. Only downside is there's no ultra-wide lens and video is 1080p only. For everyday photos and social media it's more than enough though. HyperOS runs smoothly.
Best budget AMOLED phone right now
Bought the 8/256 version. Feels snappy for daily use and the screen genuinely looks premium. Heavy games run on medium settings, which is fair for the price. Keeping the headphone jack and IR blaster is a nice touch.

The 4G model uses the MediaTek Helio G99-Ultra and is LTE-only, with a 108 MP main camera (no OIS), a 5500 mAh battery and 33W charging. The 5G model steps up to the Dimensity 7025-Ultra with a 5G modem, adds OIS and an 8 MP ultra-wide to its 108 MP camera, and charges at 45W - at a higher price. Note that in India the 'Redmi Note 14' name refers to a different Dimensity 7025-Ultra / 50 MP phone.
No. The triple camera is a 108 MP main, a 2 MP macro and a 2 MP depth sensor. There is no ultra-wide lens and no OIS on this model - those are reserved for the 5G and Pro versions.
No. This is a 4G/LTE-only phone. If you need 5G, look at the Redmi Note 14 5G or the Pro models instead.
It packs a large 5500 mAh battery with 33W wired charging (about 55% in 44 minutes). There is no wireless charging. The bigger cell helps it last comfortably beyond a full day.
It carries an IP54 rating, meaning it is dust-protected and resistant to water splashes. It is not rated for submersion - keep it out of pools and avoid dunking it.
Yes to both. The Note 14 4G keeps a 3.5 mm headphone jack and supports microSDXC expansion (via the shared SIM slot), along with an IR blaster, FM radio and stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos.
It comes in 6 GB and 8 GB RAM options with 128 GB or 256 GB of UFS 2.2 storage, depending on region, plus microSD expansion.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 14 4G is the most affordable member of the Note 14 family - the LTE-only model that keeps Redmi's signature 108 MP camera and a bright AMOLED screen at a genuinely budget price. It trades the 5G modem of its siblings for the proven MediaTek Helio G99-Ultra, pairs it with a large 5500 mAh battery, and wraps everything in a 6.67-inch 120Hz AMOLED behind Gorilla Glass 5.
This is the phone for buyers who don't need 5G and want maximum value: a high-resolution main camera for everyday photos, a smooth, bright screen, and exceptional battery life. If your network is still 4G or you simply want the lowest price in the Note 14 line without giving up the essentials, this is the natural pick.
Camera: a 108 MP f/1.7 main sensor leads the triple setup, backed by a 2 MP macro and a 2 MP depth sensor for portraits.
Display: a 6.67-inch flat AMOLED at 1080 x 2400 (FHD+), 120 Hz, and up to 1800 nits peak, under Gorilla Glass 5.
Battery: a large 5500 mAh cell with 33W wired charging - comfortably a day and a half of typical use.
Extras kept: a 3.5 mm headphone jack, microSD expansion, an IR blaster, FM radio and stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos.
The savings show in a few clear places. There's no 5G - this is a 4G/LTE phone. There's no ultra-wide camera (the third lens is a depth sensor) and no OIS on the main camera, and video tops out at 1080p. The build is IP54 (splash-resistant, not submersible), Wi-Fi is the older Wi-Fi 5 standard, and the Helio G99-Ultra is a dependable everyday chip rather than a gaming powerhouse. None are surprising at this price - they're simply the lines that separate it from the 5G and Pro models.
The Redmi Note 14 4G is a smart budget buy: a bright 120 Hz AMOLED, a high-res 108 MP camera, outstanding battery life, and the small conveniences - jack, microSD, IR, FM radio - that Redmi fans appreciate, all at the lowest price in the line.
